Sean O'Connell MSc

Introduction to Sean: 

​

Having enjoyed a successful career in professional rugby, Sean’s experience of performing in a highly competitive environment fostered his intrigue about what allowed individuals to realise their full potential. What were the skills that underpinned success and how could they be developed? Sean later completed his MSc in Psychology and has since worked with a number of schools and organisations to help develop their resilience and emotional intelligence.

 

Sean now sits on the committee of the British Psychological Society’s London & Home Counties Branch, contributing his expertise to help lead the strategic vision for promoting excellence in psychology. Having hosted and presented a number of CPD events and webinars on behalf of the Society, he is able to draw on this breadth of knowledge and deliver fascinating insights through his authentic and engaging style.

Course Overview:

Sean is available for workshops and lectures, with a particular focus on performance psychology and the latest neuroscience, helping students, teachers and parents / guardians to cope effectively, with stresses that life throws at them.
