Course Overview:

This course will explore different strategies that can be utilised within the classroom and beyond to improve the resilience of students by looking at key areas of the 3 R Principles: Respect : Resilience : Relationships.

As teachers and parents there is so much that we can do to promote resilience in the younger generation that will contribute to better outcomes, academically, socially and emotionally. This course will explore the concept of “Being a Teacher Champion”.
Rita Pierson states : “Every child deserves a champion – an adult who will never give up on them, who understands the power of connections and insists that they become the best that they can possibly be”. A self-reflective course, participants will have a greater understanding of why listening, communication and increased autonomy will improve respect, resilience and relationships.
Participants will explore different strategies to promote the 3 R principles and have the confidence to implement these within their own practice.
